Daybreak is dependent on donor support even to continue our ministry. Below are recently completed or upcoming donor-supported events.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSED WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9 AT 5PM
Join us for the Eighth Annual Daybreak “Race for LIFE 5K”. We know the battle against abortion is far from over, and we are committed to “run with perseverance” the race to save unborn lives! All profits from this event will go to support the mission and vision of Daybreak. The race will be officially timed by Timing, Inc. for both walkers and runners.
It is NOT a requirement to participate, but we would love to have race participants obtain sponsors to join with them in supporting this event! Race participants securing sponsor support will help turn this event into a major fundraiser for our ministry!
Here’s how it works:

- Register through the FundEasy link for the race (ALL participants must register) Go here to register for the 5K: https://secure.fundeasy.com/ministrysync/event/?e=28467 . ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9 AT 5PM! To help sponsor the 5K, see the form below entitled, “5K Sponsorship Opportunities”.
- Check the “I want to help fundraise.” box during registration to let us know that YOU will be a Daybreak 5K Ambassador.
- Send your giving website link to those who will be sponsoring you so they can give online!
- Pre-registration deadline is October 11, after which the price will go to $50/individual runner/walker on the day of the event. If you register by October 4, you will be guaranteed to receive a t-shirt before the race. All registrants will receive a t-shirt, but those registered after October 4 will receive a shirt sometime after the race.
It’s THAT EASY!! We have set a goal of raising $50,000 through this event! If each participant raises $250 (that’s only 10 people giving $25 each, or 5 people giving $50) then we believe we will reach our goal!

| Shirts: | Shirts tend to run a bit small, so please keep that in mind when selecting your size (you may want to choose one size larger than usual). If you register by October 4, you will be guaranteed to receive a t-shirt before the race. All registrants will receive a t-shirt, but those registered after October 4 will receive a shirt sometime after the race. |

5K Sponsorship Opportunities
There are 5 ways to sponsor Daybreak’s 2024 5K Run/Walk: $250 – Family Sponsorship, $500 – Bronze Sponsorship, $1,000 – Silver Sponsorship, $2,500 – Gold Sponsorship, $5,000 – Platinum Sponsorship. All sponsor names (individual, family, business, church, organization) will be on the back of the 2024 5K T-Shirts that every participant will receive. Also, the sponsors will receive social media recognition before the 5K. To ensure that your sponsor name is on the t-shirts, please send in your form by October 4.

An Evening with Dr. Albert Mohler, Jr.
Please join us for Daybreak LifeCare Center’s annual banquet on Thursday, May 16, at the beautiful Pastides Alumni Center of the University of South Carolina from 6pm-8pm. It will be an evening filled with touching client testimonials, celebration of Daybreak’s 40+ years of service to Columbia, culminating with a keynote address featuring Dr. Albert Mohler Jr. In addition to the keynote address, Dr. Mohler will entertain questions from attendees and host a book signing after the close of the evening. Southern Way Catering will provide a delicious dinner. Tables of ten ($600) and eight ($500) seats are available to sponsor by churches, businesses/organizations and groups of friends wanting to enjoy the evening together. We are also offering sponsorship opportunities to cover event costs (venue rental, meal, parking, speaker honorarium): platinum ($10,000), gold ($5,000), silver ($2,500), bronze ($1,000). All sponsorships include recognition at the banquet and social media blasts.
